ARC Review: ANNOUNCING TROUBLE by Amy Fellner Dominy

ANNOUNCING TROUBLE
by Amy Fellner Dominy
Release Date: August 5, 2019; Entangled Publishing, LLC (Crush)

About the book:
I may know everything there is to know about baseball, but that doesn’t mean I have to like it. Or like him. Garrett Reeves: sidelined player and the embodiment of everything I’ve learned to hate about baseball. He’s gorgeous, he’s cocky, he’s laser-focused on getting back in the game, no matter the cost.

When he convinces me to call games alongside him, our chemistry heats up the booth. We’re good together, whether I want to admit it or not. I’m finding that I like baseball again, but even worse, I’m liking Garrett. A lot.

But when he has to decide between our future and a new shot at his dreams, I know baseball will win out every time.

Disclaimer: This Entangled Teen Crush book has tons of hilarious banter, lots of sexual tension, and a hero who will throw a wild pitch right at your heart.

Rating: 4 of 5 stars

It's official. I've just found the cutest, sweetest and most adorable book I'll most assuredly read over and over again.

I've read tons of YA contemporaries so finding one that really stands out is rare. But holy shit, this book was EVERYTHING. I have never loved anything as much as I love this.

Josie and Garrett stole my heart from the very start. The banter, the chemistry, the humor- it was everything I needed. I mean, yes sure, I understood next to nothing about the baseball stuff but the way the author wrote about it? The way Garrett's passion and love for it oozes through the pages? The way Josie makes it seem so exciting even when she keeps on saying she hates it? It made me want to know everything there is to know about baseball. I now believe you can love something without even understanding it. Because man, do I LOVE baseball now. And yes, I now have a new appreciation for sports broadcasting.

Not only did this wonderfully heartfelt book put the biggest smile on my face, it also made me fall madly in love with its amazing cast of characters, addictive writing and obsess over two perfectly matched characters with intoxicating chemistry.

I honestly don't know what else to tell you but trust me when I say you should absolutely, most definitely read this. (And then we can swoon over Garrett together. Because holy shit I AM IN LOVE.)

Can we get Mai's book next please??

I received an e-arc via Netgalley to read and review.
