Incessant Rambling: What I Got in the Mail

So there was I completely exhausted from summer class but just as excited to finally get home. After two tiring months of studying, dealing with projects and such, I am finally, finally back on my own bed. So imagine my surprise when my dad calls me downstairs (and I actually thought he'll scold me because of who knows what) and shows me what I received in the mail.
I got super excited and a bunch of things went in my head on what the packages (there are two!) would be. And just as I'm about to faint 'cause of total excitement, here's what I feasted my eyes upon!

The first one would be a hardback (hardback! eep!) copy of Kimberly Derting's Dead Silence. I remember a blog tour was held for the book and one of the prizes was a copy of the book. I got super surprised though 'cause I didn't know that it was going to be a hardback (hardback!) copy.

And for this super awesome book, a ginarmous thank you to Ms. Kimberly Derting! (And The Book Depository for shipping of course).

And because I simply can't get over the fact that I won a hardback (hardback!) copy of the book, I took several pictures -

And here's another one -

And another one -
No worries! It's the last one.

Check out The Body Finder books and awesome author Kimberly Derting!

The Book.

Violet thought she’d made peace with her unique ability to sense the echoes of the dead and the imprints that cling to their killers…that is until she acquired an imprint of her own. Forced to carry a reminder of the horrible events of her kidnapping, Violet is more determined than ever to lead a normal life. However, the people who run the special investigative team Violet works for have no intention of letting her go.

When someone close to Violet becomes a suspect in a horrific murder, she finds herself pulled into a deadly hunt for a madman with an army of devoted followers. Violet has survived dangerous situations before, but she quickly discovers that protecting those closest to her is far more difficult than protecting herself.
